I keep getting upgrade pop-ups in my account and I'm already on a paid plan
I already pay for a plan and have space remaining, but every time I log into Dropbox from any of the linked accounts, I get constant prompts to upgrade or subscribe. I'm already paying, so stop nagging me to keep upgrading! And I know the next response from Dropbox will be to ask for a screenshot, but I’m not doing that because this issue has been brought up countless times, and you all know exactly what I’m referring to. If this nonsense continues, we’re just going to cancel entirely.
Hi khan95osu & BalloonAnimal,
Great news, our engineers have identified the issue with this pop up message and just wrapped up fixing it.
You shouldn't have any more issues like this but by all means, please met me know if you do.

not fixed as of 12:17pm EST 8/18/25 on Dropbox Plus, this upgrade nag pops up EVERY SINGLE TIME i log in. I paid already, it's like buying a movie ticket then every 5 minutes while are trying to watch, an ad pops up on the screen asking if you want a more premium seat

Hi khan95osu & BalloonAnimal,
Thank you for letting us know about this issue. I've already raised this issue with one of our internal teams so they can investigate. Can you let me know what plan you're each on in the meantime?
I'll reach out again as soon as I have an update or any follow up questions!

I’m sorry to hear that, BalloonAnimal. Can you please clarify what’s your current plan, as shown at your Plan page here?
Feel free to also send me a screenshot of the prompt you keep receiving. Did this start happening recently, or is it something you’ve been seeing for a long time, even though you’re on a paid plan?

I literally just logged in to my account and am facing the same issue. Just like a million other people.

Hey khan95osu, sorry for jumping in here, too. I wanted to make sure that you’re no longer facing this issue.
In case you are though, please send over the info Hannah asked for above, and we’ll look into this further.

Thanks for reaching out to us, khan95osu and I'm sorry to hear about this.
Would you mind clarifying what you mean by "linked accounts"? Do you have multiple Dropbox accounts?
Do these pop-ups appear in your upgraded account as well, or just in a free Basic account?
Any additional info would be helpful.
Thanks.
