Lost email, but I need help cancelling the subscription of the account.
I lost access to my email used to pay for a yearly Dropbox subscription when the company the email was with went bankrupt.
There is no way I'll ever be able to log into that email since the Email Service Provider no longer exists.
I can no longer log into my account for this reason, and all Dropbox support documents say I must regain access to my email before I can contact support.
I tried the phone number on my PayPal invoice but that too said to log into my account.
Now, while trying to get back into my account I have been charged for another year of service I did not want to pay for - because I'm locked out and I have no way to talk to anyone at Dropbox.
How can I contact Dropbox support to cancel my account?

While you likely won't be able to gain access to the account without access to your email, Support can help you cancel the subscription and any future charges.
To contact Support, visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.

Thanks for reaching out Rich. That link directs me back to this forum.
If I missed how to contact Dropbox on that link, please let me know.

Hi b2000b - did you make sure that you weren't signed into any Dropbox account when trying to contact the support team?

Thank you Walter! I was able to use the link in your post to make the request.
However I had to put in the lost email, the form says to look at my lost accounts “'Your help requests'” page for a response.
How will Dropbox reach out to me?
Since the form instructed me to view the reply on a page I can not access, this issue is still unresolved.

You'd need to put an email address you can actually access at the moment b2000b
Otherwise, we can reach out via the email address that's linked to your profile here, on our Community from our end to investigate further.

If someone from this forum could reach out, that would be preferable.
So far this thread has been the only contact with Dropbox I’ve feel confident I will not be ignored; since both the phone number and support at Dropbox email auto replied with a message to log in to my account.
Once I have record that someone at Dropbox has connected my account and new email I can consider this issue resolved.

Sure thing b2000b - I've just followed up via email so please take a look at your inbox and we'll take it from there.
