No option to remove payment method on my Basic plan
Last year we had a teams account for a specific project which has now completed. My email was the admin account. After canceling the renewal since the account was no longer needed, my credit card is still listed as a payment method under my free/basic account with no option to remove it. I want my CC info completely removed from the system, but because it is a free account I have no access to dropbox chat/email/support/etc. Any idea how to get it off of there? I am not going to pay for another month of a subscription just so I can get in touch with them to remove my payment info.

Hi Speez, thanks for messaging the Community.
Could you confirm that your account is on a Basic plan according to this screen?
Which page are you seeing your billing details still visible?
A screenshot of it would help us greatly!

thanks Jay. Yes I do see it as a basic account now on that screen:
Also below is where it shows my credit card info as a payment method but does not offer an option to remove it as a payment method. I see this on the "billing" screen accessed by clicking "Billing" in the left pane in the first screenshot. There is no current charge that I need to dispute but I want this payment info completely removed from dropbox's system. This is a personal card and a dropbox account associated with a company email, so the card details need to be 100% removed to avoid any chance it is actually used for payment in the future.

Hey Speez - thanks for the screenshot and the additional information.
Would it be OK if we reached out via email to have a further look internally?

Here’s what you can do:
Visit the Billing Page: Go to the Dropbox website and log in to your account. Navigate to your account settings and then to the billing page.
Remove Payment Method:
- If there’s no direct option to remove the payment method, try changing the payment method to a different one (e.g., a virtual card with no funds).
I hope this helps you get your payment info removed!

Unfortunately there is no option to remove the payment method or change/add a payment method (although I don't want to do that either, just want it removed entirely).
Walter contact via email would be fine is that something you can initiate?
