I am trying to subscribe to a plan, and I get this message instead of being able to sign up:

I am having the same issue with dropbox and no one seems to be very helpful. I can't get anyone on the phone and the live chat person gave me a number that keeps hanging up. All I am trying to do is pay for my subscription so my files can start back syncing within my organization and Dropbox isn't being helpful or user friendly

Anyone else experiencing this issue after an automatic downgrade?
My account was reverted to a Basic one after my credit card changed (and sadly wasn't updated promptly). I see this message and select "View my Options" up top...
That leads to here:
Nice. so lets Upgrade to Plus... (btw - no idea what Your plan and billing info are managed externally means - and no link with the ephemeral notification)
The only option is to "Try free for 30 days?" Clicking on that literally does nothing. Crickets...
No response. Let's see if we can get some help....

Calling just hangs up on you btw. Dead end there.
Help Center? Found this. Maybe changing billing info?
āNavigate back to Billing Tab, but sadly No such thing as Payment Method?
Out of options - already spent an hour on and just keep getting routed back to this endless loop...
Any other suggestions - seeing there is no other way to contact Dropbox... here I am. Love Dropbox but can't be losing files or unable to save/sync anything more... last try before I start downloading 3-4 years worth of files to switch services once and for all?
If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!

My subscription plan connected with an Indian card gets cancelled every month! While trying to resubscribe, I keep getting the error message "Your plan and billing information are managed externally" but there is no place for me to update my payment information. I recently read that Dropbox is accepting UPI payments - how can I set that up?

Hey everyone, thanks for flagging this.
Since you're trying to upgrade directly through our website, can you all try to use a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if that helps at all?
- camcaasi4 years agoHelpful | Level 6Iāve tried edge chrome and private. The problem persists across browsers

Yes. I tried to use a different browser, and it did not help. ALSO, I thought the issue might be because my credit card needed updated, but when I tried to update my credit card, I get the error "You canāt update your billing information because Credit Card doesnāt support None currency.". I'm not sure if these two issues are related or not.
