I'm trying to retrieve access to my account, and support isn't helping.
For almost a month now I am trying to retrieve one of our accounts which was hacked and dont have access any longer . I have been contacted By LEX from support and I have replied to the emails multipul times with NO responce.
IS ANYONE OUTTHERE WHO CAN COMMUNICATE AFFECTIVLY IN DROPBOX SUPPORT PLEASE?

It appears that I've been locked out of by DB account by a hacker. Anytime that I try to log in, it says my password is incorrect. I go to send a code to reset it and I don't get the email. I've reached out to DB, but they have not responded and I'm not sure if they will respond since I couldn't sign in. I've now signed in with personal account to create this post. Please help!!!!!

Hi Thayne88, sorry to hear about that!
Do you have access to the email address linked to your Dropbox account, or was that hacked too?
In regards to the password reset, and provided that you have access to the email linked to the hacked account: have you tried to add the no-reply@dropbox.com to your address book?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

I have the original email and access to same (now fixed) which is where we think the hack originated. The Dropbox account was switched to the email noted above. Please help if you can.

Hi Thayne88, how are you today?
Can I send you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this?
Let me know!
- Thayne883 years agoExplorer | Level 3Yes, that would be fine. Do I need to post my email?
