Lost my account after signing in via Google
Hi! I had a Dropbox account set up with my email address which is a Gmail address. I accidentally opted to log in with that same email through the Google option and now all of my data is gone from the other account. I can't log back in because it basically transferred me to a Google account with that email. Please someone help because I cannot for the life of me find a way to email Dropbox support.

What happens when you try to login with your Gmail address and your password, the one that you initially created?
Are you still getting logged in to the empty account?

I have the same problem:
I have an dropbox for years, and i used an gmail account for it.
I forgot the password, because i have it installed as an app on my computer. When i wanted to log in to another device, i used the google sign-in this time, since i didnt remember my password. Now suddenly i cant access my data at all, on all of my devices, it looks like i have a new account completely.....

You do - because they are two separate systems.
You need to log in on the account as it was using the password set up as before.
If you are unsure of the password use www.dropbox.com/forgot to get a reset.

will that do a reset on the old acocunt then? or on the new account, since both have the same email address now?

i have tried it, and it reset password from the new account, not the old one.....
