Someone got the password to my Dropbox account and changed my credentials.
I think someone got the password to my Dropbox account and changed the associated password and e-mail account. Is there anything I can do?

Not sure how I lost the account however there are many attempts to my email server to accesss which i have still control and my domain. However i have seen the hackers details on some of my active dropbox accounts which i removed in time but i lost completely the one of my droppox account i am refering above and not sure how dropbox support can help as i have not clear communication yet. I have the haxkers email he used to locate the account if need it but the dropbox support is not there yet to achieve control we need.

4 years agoThanks for the info, Iād recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail.
You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your current account, and accessing this link.
From there you should be able to contact support. Make sure to enter the same email you use to login to Dropbox. Once you get a ticket ID from the automated response, please let me know the number here so I can locate it in our system!

I simply reply from the mailbox email requested and the ticket was all ready showing ..
as per the request I was told to just reply from the appropriate email nothing more ..

As per my last note
I cant view anything on my active customer portal as this one has not been hacked.
I only have the emailstill connected to me from the account lost as I can not login with that email which is stollen.
How am i suppose to log on line a view any tickets or corespondence ?

Thanks for the update here.
From what I can understand, you either didn't reply to Lex, or you created a new ticket, perhaps.
No need to login to anything to access the email Lex has sent you.

The email I received from Lex is the same reference from the email just received telling me the ticket is now resolved and I dont know how is that ? I have also send another email to Lex to provide some feedback since there is not link to see the details of the ticket ,, see below .. completetly lost with this kid of communcation from Lex on ticket 15573176

The ticket was marked as resolved, because there was no answer to Lex's response from you.
But you can still reply back to it, even now. Just open the email thread from your email account and reply from there.

For days now I am trying to talk to the support as I have returned an email as request but I heard nothing back and they close the ticket which I have no ability to review.
The ticket is #15573176 and I was responding via email to Lex (support@dropbox.zendesk.com) but cant resolve the issue as I never got a responce regarding the Hacked account and lost of admin contol to one of my account.
May I have some undertanding and support on why our communication is lost for assistance Please

I hope someone is getting the request as I am waiting with no feedback for days as you can see form my responces above.
There is a lot or private data on my dropbox account which have been hacked.

Hi, they respond in tickets about 2 to 5 days. (remember its the free version you are using)
The support of Dropbox helped me good, but take a lot of time!

Are you sure you're checking the correct email address and that you don't have a different one?
Another thing you may want to remember is to reply back to Lex at the email address they have sent you.

This type of communication needs to be looked at by dropbox. I am doing everything i can to.communicate with them .. can someone look at the email i have provided preciusly to make sure my reply is corect .please or can Lex respond here?

Just wondering. do we need to pay for an account with dropbox to have access to support or this is a normal type of responce.
I must admit I have results with every other online service we had hacked and Dropbox is still the last to provide any solution.
I am really very dissapointed with the way support is able to be available and be clearly contactable for us at this stage as I have tried averything in my power to contact LEX who is still to respond appropriatly after many return email to his original respond.

I have not received an email from anyone, I cannot click the ticker reply because when I do it sends me to the main page of contact support.
It is an old email, I have created a new account for school. I also wrote the ticket in this one because it wont allow me to write you unless I have an account already.
It is an old email that the hackers changed the phone number and contact info to so I can no longer access my google.
The old dropbox account has photography photos of me, and I only created that dropbox to retrieve those folders in a folder from my photographer.
I can prove the account and those photos are me, I just need those photos.
The photographer no longer has those photos since the shoot was in 2015, and I never expect someone to hack into my email. I now work in cybersecurity because of it.
