Almost impossible to login due to "games" captcha
Hi everyone! I have a problem I hope you can help me resolve.
I use my Dropbox free acount to move files from my phone to the office computer. They are personal things, so I can't install the app or login out of a private browser session. I have two-factors autentication active.
Dropbox makes me lose a lot of time in stupid games before login to prove I'm human. I'm not talking about reCAPTCHA here, but real games where you move people to the right chair and other crap like that.
How can I avoid this? It's ridicolous, if I wanted to play I will have open an account to a game site, not to personal cloudspace.

Agree.
I have used hours to get into Dropbox and impossible to solve this puzzle. Remove it or else you will lose a lot of customers.
It's also impossible to figure out emailaddress to support?
Yesterday i tried to find this community but again this stupid puzzles so gave up.
Today i succeded getting in here but it can't be right that we can't get help from the people behind Dropbox and have to find the help in this forum? :-( - sheila a.18 months agoHelpful | Level 5
It now appears that other sites are doing similar puzzle like login checks for humanity.
eg Facebook now have a 3 dice match. Again the issue is actually recognising the matches as the shapes on the dice faces are not clear and on the matches they change orientation and change in intensity of black/grey/white. Never mind the number of times you have to do this.
Also the audio options for identifying tunes with birdsong or drums are just as difficult to those of us musically challenged.
I've lost count of how many clicks it now takes to login in .
How anyone with any cognitive impairment can do this is beyond me!

I thought I would try the game once more. I got all six tests correct with the person in the correct seat, yet I was told that I had failed.
how long can it take for a Dropbox to either get this right or abandon these stupid tests. I am now looking to move to a different site.
After so many complaints why had Dropbox done NOTHING to resolve the issue?

This is absolutely ridiculous. It also makes me want to look for alternatives to Dropbox.

dropbox captcha is little tricky. I took me half hour to solve.

Absolutely dch0jmh, the account will stay open to support the thread.
No way I'll keep using Dropbox after this through, this level of total indifference regard users is something I don't tolerate.
