My email address is inactive and I don't know my password. What can I do?
The email address associated with my account no longer exists and I don’t know the original password. I do have access to my Dropbox through a saved tab in my web browser but I need to update the email and subsequently the password. What do I do?

Hey GirlGuideCookie, thanks for your post.
Without access to your linked email address and without knowing your current password, I’m afraid there’s not much to be done.
One thing I can suggest is contacting your ESP (if that’s possible), in case they can reactivate your previous email address, so that you can change your Dropbox password right after that.
If that’s not feasible, please don’t log out of your Dropbox account (as you won’t be able to sign back in) and download your files to your computer to make sure you don’t lose access to them at some point. You can set up a new Dropbox account after that with an email address you can access and upload your files there instead.
Let me know if you need something else.
