Two-Step Verification is disabled, but it's still asking for 6 digit code
Hello,
I access my dropbox account on multiple different devices via web browser. I have disabled two-step verification on the account, but it is still asking for a 6 digit code when logging...

2-step verification is toggled off, yet I still have to receive 6 digit code to sign-in.
I have it toggled off because I DO NOT want a 2 step verification!
Tell me how to fix it. I'm paying $120 a year for crying out loud!

If you have two-step verification turned off, then what you're seeing isn't a two-step code. It's a one-time security code and Dropbox will request them whenever you sign in from a device they don't recognize or if Dropbox detects a suspicious sign-in attempt. There's no way to disable that function.

Thanks, I get it.
So, how do I get them to recognize my laptop, which I am hot-spotting from my phone? This is the problem it appears.

You could try checking the Remember me option when signing in, but that's not really secure. Otherwise, there is no option to force it. It's likely the fact that you're on a hot spot, with an ever changing IP address and location that's causing this.
