Two-Step Verification is disabled, but it's still asking for 6 digit code

Hello,   I access my dropbox account on multiple different devices via web browser.  I have disabled two-step verification on the account, but it is still asking for a 6 digit code when logging...

Same here, I could effing SCREAM!! The answer from Dropbox is useless (sorry, no offence intended). Posts by Mark and Rich are much more helpful. I have been using the same Mac since 2017, though. My iPhone is connected too. Two factor ID is turned off! I am not sure, but could adding a new device or using other websites and apps with Dropbox integration "trigger" the 6-figure code prompt?
