Storage of new files option not visible in the app
Hi All,
In my dropbox app the "Storage of new files section isn't there.
Thus I'm not able to select the option "online only" for new files default.
I'm on a M1 MacBook with Big Sur (11.6.8 (20G730) installed. Dropbox app v182.4.6427

I managed to solve it, my friend showed me a screenshot of the settings in the online dropbox account.
See screenshot below, the two online only options were set to off in my account.

Hi Ronsk1, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Have you recently installed the app, or made any updates to it?
This will help me to assist further!

Hi Jay
As far as I remember I didn't do any updates but suddenly I wasn't able to select this option anymore.
It can be that it updated automatically without me realising it. normally I would be able to use the "online only" option in finder, but lately this disappeared and I went on the hunt to solve this. In the app I discovered that the option is missing.
