"uploading - 1 remaining" vs. "waiting to upload"

"uploading - 1 remaining" vs. "waiting to upload"

My iPhone 10 which is totally up to date, often seems to stop responding when I'm uploading a video to dropbox. At the top is says "uploading" and tells how many files (sometimes only one) are remaining. But on the list below, the file is grayed out and the words "waiting to upload" remain. Seemingly forever. Very frustrating as I have an advanced level of dropbox and people depend on my use of it.

Hey @Maggie A.1, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Can you please clarify if you're referring to videos you upload manually or videos that are supposed to upload automatically through Camera Uploads?

Also, have you tried clearing the app's cache at all? You'll find that option in the app's settings.

Keep me posted.

Hi. Searching the community posts here, this seems to be an ongoing problem. I can't recall having it myself, after uncountable uploads from my iPhone - until today.

I am using an iPhone 14, latest iOS, and trying to upload two short (two-minute) videos. I have tried doing it over Wi-Fi (very strong connection) and over cellular (the cell antennas are literally above the window of my office).  I have tried clearing the cache on my mobile Dropbox app, logging out and restarting. These videos are still going nowhere.

Hi @ronaldcoleman, let's look into this!

Do you try to upload the content manually, or using camera uploads

Have you tried clearing the app's cache (you can visit the app's settings to do so) and then restarting your device?

Keep me posted!
