Hi

I have to upgrade my storage but I am not able to do so. I do not see India as dropdown country for credit card payments. Also, there is no other option for payment. I see UPI but as soon as select it, it changes to paypal and I am unable to proceed.

Hi all, I just wanted to mention that this should be resolved now.

Note that you might need to clear your browser's cookies or cache before you can see India as an option on the Checkout page again.

Let us know if this persists for anyone of you!

@Nancy I am unable to upgrade from basic using any payment method.

If I select credit card, I do not see India listed in the country dropdown for a Credit Card payment.

If I select UPI (monthly option) , it option changes to paypal and I am stuck again.

Please help .

@nharp The solution provided to me would make a USD 70 thing cost USD 270. I don't think dropbox understands/cares about the indian market. After using dropbox for over 4 years, I have migrated entirely to gdrive. They have the same type of desktop and web interface, much better pricing, and a site that actually works.

It is surprising and shocking that India is missing in the list of countries while upgrading the plans.

Could someone explain as to how this can happen ?

Hi! We have a team member of our company that hasn't been able to upgrade his Dropbox Account. They are from India, and mentioned that "INDIA" is not on their options in order to upgrade.

Please advice.

Hi @nharp, I hope you’re doing well!

Is it alright if I open a ticket for you, so that we can investigate this further? If you don’t mind that, I can message you to the email address that’s tied to your Community profile here.

Also, welcome to the forum, @Gina_WV!

Can you let me know a few more details on the issue? Is the user trying to pay via UPI and they’re unable to do so, nonetheless?

Hello, sorry to hijack the thread , I am also having this issue and I am unable to upgrade my plan. I had 2TB plan now downgraded to 2GB basic plan.
I am unable to upgrade either yearly or monthly plan. (I would prefer monthly) I generally use PayPal for sub, but I am unable to select India as a country for billing. (Unable to select India eve if I select card payment.

@Nancy please feel free to email. I would like to know the ETA of the resolution . I would want to remain with dropbox but if a simple upgrade is such a hassle, I would have no choice but to evaluate other cloud storage options.

Hey @ahitagni, no worries, thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Can we send both you and you @anupamw an email, so we can investigate on this?
