And once again! I'm trying to send docs for esign but ONLY the cc emails are sent but NOT to the actual signers! After looking at community forum since that is the ONLY thing available shows that this exact same issue has been a problem for more than 3 years and still they do NOTHING to fix it! HIGH triple digits in price for the plan for our business and THIS is what I have to resort to for community help since Dropbox customer service refuses to make themselves available until NINE in the morning! WHY ARE MY EMAILS NOT GETTING SENT TO MY SIGNERS?! Any Jane or John Does to help answer this since Dropbox needs their beauty sleep? I have a deadline and need to figure out how to get my emails to send properly. boss has looked all over his email account and the address is 100% correct. Cannot believe they charge so much for a service they refuse to fix or make themselves properly available to HELP fix and forcing me to chat with other users instead of a dropbox employee! This is flat-out ridiculous and a total rip off.23Views0likes3CommentsI need help accessing my Dropbox account. No access to email, so I can't receive the security code.
Subject: Urgent Account Recovery Request – Lost Gmail Access Hello Dropbox Support, My Dropbox account is registered under the email address [email removed as per Community Guidelines]. I have lost access to this Gmail account and cannot receive verification codes. I attempted the recovery form multiple times, but it now says I have tried too many times and instructs me to contact support. I have always used the free Dropbox plan. To help verify ownership, here are details I can provide: - Devices I used with Dropbox: [list PC names, phone models] - Shared folders/files I remember: [list names] - Contacts I shared with: [list emails if possible] - Any old Dropbox emails/screenshots I still have - Approximate date I created the account: [month/year] I kindly request that you manually verify my account and update the linked email to a new one I control, so I can regain access to my files. Thank you for your assistance, Freddy18Views0likes2CommentsCannot log in to my account because my email address is no longer active

Bonjour.
Hi, I’m wondering whether my inaccessible account is still active. I looked around but because I’m feeling anxious I couldn’t find a definite answer, and I’d really like some reassurance. Years ago, my old email was compromised during a time when I was unwell. It was part of a data breach, and in a panic I permanently deleted it (which I know was my own mistake). Today, years later, I suddenly thought about that old email again. Because everything back then was such a blur, I wondered whether I might have had a Dropbox account associated with it. When I tried signing in with the old email and password, it said it sent a code to that old email address, which I can no longer access because it was deleted. Many scenarios playing in my head, like one: I don’t know whether someone might have accessed my Dropbox account and downloaded the app on their phone or computer and it’s active? But since the email address itself is no longer active, I’m not sure what happens. I thought inactive accounts were eventually deactivated, or that files might be deleted after a long period of no access, or so I’ve read on here. I really hope that’s the case, especially because I may or may not have stored old sentimental family photos there (it’s been years). Again, I fully blame myself. Ive tried the recovery form, and now I’ve contacted support, although from what I’ve read on other forums, it’s unlikely they can help if you no longer have access to the associated email (I’m not angry at them). Still, I’m praying and hoping at least that if there were files and photos in them that they would have been deleted by now due to inactivity? Any advice appreciated. - Dropbox Plan - Standard Are you a Team Member or Admin? Not part of a team. Owner of account. Do you have access to the email linked to the account? Dropbox Plan (Basic) Are you a Team Member or Admin? (Neither) Do you have access to the email linked to the account? (Yes) Are there any devices connected to your Dropbox account? (Home PC) Hello, I just signed up for DropBox basic and I got an email from DocSend Support asking me to verify my email. I want to confirm this is a legit email and not a scam before I proceed. When I click on the information the email is from mailto:support@docsend.com My cousin also set up a DropBox basic account and she sent me a file and I did get an email that she sent it to me. I am going to watch the Get Started videos before I open the document. Thanks52Views0likes2CommentsNo longer have access to my account email to receive one-time login code.
Hi there! I created a Dropbox account years ago with my college email and have never had an issue getting into my account. Dropbox is now asking me to enter a 6 digit code that is being sent to that college email - I’m assuming because I got a new phone a few months ago. I no longer have access to that email so cannot get the code to login to my Dropbox. I have the correct password and everything, just can’t get that verification email. There is not a customer service phone line unfortunately so I’m not sure how to go about getting into my account! I submitted a form about it but haven’t heard anything back. Has anyone had any experience with finding a solution to this problem?57Views0likes5CommentsTurn off Dropbox Transfer notifications and emails
Hello, I am sick of the torrent of emails and red badges reminding me that I just created a transfer, someone downloaded the transfer I sent them to download, or the transfer is expiring etc. I want to turn off all of these emails with a toggle in the app. The numerous other posts and requests about this issue (dating back to the late 2010's) have gone unresolved, so I'm adding my voice here. Please prioritize fixing this problem! Or hire me to come and add the code in your backend real quick! Pleeeeease 🙏712Views0likes9Comments
