"Display Limit Reached" message when trying to view my photos
Hi---
I keep all my photos on Dropbox. It's usually great-- I open the app and scroll back and go back literally years and years and years. If I want to see a photo from November 2014, I could usually just scroll back there (it takes a while, but always worked).
Today, when I went to do that, I got to the end of 2019 and then my app says "Display Limit Reached" and won't show me any more photos.
I came on to the computer to check from dropbox.com. Nope. Not there either. I cannot see or find or even know where to start to find my photos. THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS.
I pay for a subscription service. My account shows that I have space remaining (a LOT of space) so what's up?
Where are my photos??? PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey aa592, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you seeing this behavior in the camera uploads folder? Or other folders as well?
Can you send me a screenshot of this error message?
And can you clarify what you see on the website? Do the photos not appear at all, or do you get the error there too?
Keep me posted.
- parmessy4 years agoHelpful | Level 5I have the same problem. I don't know if it's part of their recent update but I also get the Display Limit Reached when scrolling all the way down. I try searching up time stamps in Files but they never show all the pictures from the date I put so it's not accurate. I have more than 100,000 pictures saved from over the years. I want the limitless scroll back.

Hey parmessy, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you clarify the platform you're noticing this on and send us a screenshot of the exact error you're seeing as well?
- Mvj152083 years agoExplorer | Level 4I’m also having this problem when using the app in the photos section.
Unfortunately it won’t let me add a photo of the issue - Jay3 years ago

Hi Mvj15208, could you attach a screenshot showing where you're experiencing this behavior?
- Mvj152083 years agoExplorer | Level 4This is happening in the app. How do I send you a picture?

Hey Mvj15208, sorry to jump in, but I wanted to mention that you should be able to attach a screenshot in your reply from within your reply's box via the photo icon.
If you're not seeing it, you can send us a shared link to the screenshot instead.

Hey katehannigan, thanks for posting here!
Would you mind sharing a few screenshots with me, of what you see on your end?
Which version of the mobile app do you currently use?
Keep me posted on the results!
- katehannigan3 years agoHelpful | Level 7Hi Megan, thanks for replying. I have version 290.2.2. And here is a screen shot of “display limit reached” message. I have many more years of photos than this.
