Download not opening with =1 change of link.
Before I could enable it so I the share link of a file I could change to =1 at the end and it would initiate the download.
It is still doing that but it's opening in a strange window instead of staying in the current window...
Anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a fix?

Thanks for posting here, thomashayden!
As a first, can you send a screenshot of the new window that now pops up on your screen?
I’d like to have a look and check this further.

Hey there,
Please see screenshot here:

As you can see instead of initiating the download, it opens a blank page with the download... Very strange.
Works fine apart from Safari browser.

Hi thomashayden, could you copy and paste the screenshot directly into your post instead of via a shared link?
Have you tried using a different browser to see if the behavior is different when downloading files?

There you go. It wasn't letting me before.
Like I said, in Google it works fine. Safari is the issue.

Just to check, this is the normal window to save files from the web. Is the window not going away when you click the Save button?

Nope, it's keeping me on a blank page.
when i use dl=1 it should initiate download on the same page, but it creates that from what I showed you.

Could you try using Safari in private browsing mode, without any extensions running, to see if this issue occurs again?
