File names not appearing in ‘Recents’
I am using the online version of Dropbox. It has been working well but recently when using the Recents tab the list displays a list of images, but the file names that contain the images are missing. I can find the files and download from All Files but I like the convenience of the Recents tab. I am on Windows 7 which I know is outdated but it has been working fine until now.

Hey User1557178, welcome to our Community!
Let's see what we can find about this.
Since you mentioned that you're using our website to access your recents tab, would you mind clearing your browser's cache, and trying again? While you're at it, please also try accessing your recents from a different browser, to check if the behavior remains the same there.
Which browser do you use in order to access Dropbox, and have you made sure it's updated to its latest version?
If you get the same results after following the steps mentioned above, please send me a screenshot in order for me to have a visual. You can send it to me by clicking the camera-like icon when replying back to me, or pasting them directly in the reply box.
Keep me posted!

Thank you for your reply. I cleared the cache but the problem persists. The file info is present in the drop down menu at the three dots on the right side of the image bar. So I know it knows what file the image belongs to. It just isn’t displaying it next to the image.

Hey User1557178, would it be possible to send us a screenshot of how this looks on your end?
Also, can you actually open the files from that list?

I can open one image at a time but not the whole file unless I go to the All Files list. I am not sure how to take a screenshot as this is an old computer. I discovered a work-around if I do an image preview the file is shown there and it can be opened from there but is somewhat cumbersome.

I used my phone camera.

Here is a photo of the screen. The files do not appear in ‘Recents’. I have to open them from the All Files list.

Thanks for the updates, User1557178.
If you log in to your Dropbox account from a different browser, can you recreate this behavior? Or does it work like before?

I tried logging into Dropbox with Firefox but it would not allow a login. I have not tried any other browsers yet. I will try tomorrow.
