Starred Files not showing up on Home Page
I have many starred files however when I go to my home page and click on "starred" non of the files populate.
Thank you so much for your persistence. It worked!
I copied it to the root. Starred the copy. It then appeared in the "Starred" folder.
I deleted the original. Then I moved the root version back to its original folder location (preserving the starred status)...and wow it appears in the Starred folder. Much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, MarissaW33!
When did you start experiencing this issue exactly?
Also, have you tried switching browsers and you keep seeing the exact same thing?
Keep me updated, and we’ll take a closer look.

Hi MarissaW33, have you also tried an incognito tab on your browser, by any chance?
Also, if you unstar an item, and then star it back, do you see it appearing in the Home Page, under ''Starred''?

Same problem as of April 2024. I was able to get 1 folder and 1 xlsx file into the starred section on the home page in the dropbox.com web interface, but I cannot get any additional files or folders to be recognized in this same "Starred" section (the one under "All Files" with "Recents" next to "Starred" icon. I am using Chrome Version 122.0.6261.70 (Official Build) (64-bit). I have tried in incognito mode, but with no success. I have starred and unstarred the desired files, but no success. I have logged in and logged out, but no success. Any insights or suggestions to remedy this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ssegel, could you try clearing the cache on your browser to see if this helps?
Additionally, checking another browser entirely might also help determine if it's related to the browser itself.

Thank you for the reply. I tried it with Edge, but to no avail.
Is it possible this xlsx file has some setting that prevents it from being displayed? I was just able to add another folder to the "Starred" section, so it is working...just not for my file. - Jay2 years ago

Is this xlsx file in a private or shared folder?
Could you attach a screenshot showing that the file has a star on it in Chrome?

Sure. Thank you for your perseverance.

Is it only occurring for this file, since you mentioned a folder works?

Yes. Just this file. Starred works for other files and folders. It is most unusual.
