Hey Awais , I hope it's okay for me to jump in here as well.

So, just to confirm, do you not see anything in your Shared page here?

No trace of the folder at all?

Hi again, Awais! Can you send me a screenshot of the email you received?

Thanks for the screenshot, I appreciate it.

If the folder was to be permanently deleted on the 06/13, I’m afraid there’s not much that can be done after this point.

However, in case you have a device that hasn’t synced to Dropbox, it may be possible to recover it this way. Otherwise, you can also get in touch with a member of the Dropbox team that owned the folder, in case they have a copy of it.

    Hi Nancy

I was able to access the folder till 16th June 2025. Unfortunately this email was in spam and I was on leave and have limited access to my emails. Please can you check for some solution as this folder is really important for my job. Loosing it can cost a lot to me.

How can I get in touch with a member of dropbox team that owned a copy ??

    Hey Awais !

I suggest going through any old emails that you have received, in order to see if you can locate the shared folder invitation that way.

Alternatively, if you recall any of the members of this shared folder, you might want to reach out to them.

    Hi Megan

I have tried everything form my end and nothing is working my way. Please if the team can get in touch with me via call so I can explain the importance and urgency of that folder. It will cost me my job please.

I am truly counting on your support

I'm afraid as has been said once the files are removed they are permanently removed. There is now nothing Dropbox can do. They are unrecoverable. As the warning email said they scheduled to be removed on the 13th although you may have had a few extra days.

Dropbox also does not have outgoing phone support. Inbound support is only available to paid for Business users (i.e. you have paid for the licence and not on a trial). However, they'll say the same - they emailed to warn you it was to be removed, it has been removed. Its not recoverable.

I'm really sorry but you'll need to use backups now to recover - as you talk about it being via work I assume there are backups of the devices and work etc to help with this although you may need to talk to IT.
