“Couldn’t save content. Check your internet connection and refresh the page." on iOS mobile app
Running iOS 17.3, just updated.
When I try to share content to Dropbox, I get an error message: “Couldn’t save content. Check your internet connection and refresh the page. There’s not internet connection issue; I’m connected. This is Dropbox-specific. If I use share to Save to Dropbox, that works fine; no error. This also seems unique to the latest iOS update, as I didn’t encounter it before that. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Dropbox, and simply re-starting. Neither helps.
Hi everybody,
As many of you have noticed, we implemented a fix in our updated version 362.7
Feel free to reach out if you're still having issues.
Thank you!

Not entirely solved.
I updated to DB v. 362.7.4. I find that I can now open a URL and choose Share/Save to Dropbox or tap Drop Box icon. That works, and saves to my chosen Dropbox folder.
If, however, the website URL has a pdf attachment, and I launch the attachment in Safari, I can't do the same thing. Share/Save to Dropbox or tapping the Dropbox icon saves only a useless .html--not the pdf file itself. However, the dropdown option Save to Files does appear, and if I select that, I can save to my ipad or iphone file, and there I've integrated Dropbox. So to that extent, I can save pdf's to Dropbox.

- FireChief2 years agoHelpful | Level 5For me at least it is saving a html version of the page to a PDF. Previously it saved the reader view if you were using that version in Safari. You can save a reader view as a PDF to files but I can’t save anything except the html version as a PDF to Dropbox.

- Andres M.72 years agoExplorer | Level 3With my iPad Version 16 and Safari-Browser I could easily save Websites in Dropbox. With my new iPad Version 17 and Safari-Browser I always get the following error mesagge: check your internet connection an update the website. Does anybody else have this problem?

Hey Andres M.7! Your issue sounds relevant to the OP, so I’ve merged it here.
Can you please make sure your Dropbox mobile app is on the latest 362.7 version that Sam linked above, and let us know if the issue persists even after that?
- FireChief2 years agoHelpful | Level 5Everything is updated on my device. I still am unable to save a page in reader format to Dropbox. It will only save as seen in HTML view. It is a PDF but it saves everything as seen when you are not in reader view.

I’m still having the same problem. Please can this be resolved?
