Can no longer copy folder link from Mac OS Finder
hello, Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400) - when I right click on a folder and select "Copy Dropbox link" nothing is copied to the clipboard. I have restarted Finder, restarted the machine, reinstalled the app, no dice. thanks.
Jay Hi Jay. I've resolved the issue with Dropbox Support - thank you. They tell me I'd been banned for some reason. All sorted now, thanks.

I've tried both of those steps multiple times. This has been an issue since about Thanksgiving, BTW.
I've even worked thru the delete and reinstall process as outlined in the Help Center. No joy.

I've now discovered that *none* of the right-click menu options work, including the Open on Dropbox.com. I deleted and re-install of the app. Still no joy.

Hi Gr8sons, it might sound trivial, but have you re-started your device, by any chance?
Also, feel free to send me a few screenshots of what you see when you right click on a file/folder, in order for me to have a visual of the steps you described above.

Hi mattiaa, I've removed your shared link, because that could cause too much traffic for your Dropbox account, since we're in the Community.
As for the issue, it might sound trivial, but have you tried rebooting your device at all ever since the issue resurfaced?
Also, could you let me know the Dropbox app's version that you're using on your device?

I have tried rebooting the computer. When I go to dropbox in the menu bar and click system preferences and general the 'about dropbox' is v167.4.4719. Is that what you are looking for?

all the info you ask for is already posted by me in this thread, thank you.

Yeah, I've restarted several times. I always shut down at the end of the day and, interestingly, today the Dropbox app didn't auto-launch at start up. The System Settings have changed in Ventura so I don't seem to find a way to set/review the apps that are set to auto-launch.
The non-working menu options persist.
Screen shots attached.

Hey Mandy_Yuille1 & mattiaa, could you confirm that you've granted full disk access to Dropbox as outlined here?
If you did and this persists, a screenshot of the app's exact status as shown in your menu bar would be much appreciated.
In the meantime, you can use the website instead.

- In the menu on the left, click Accessibility.
- Check the box next to Dropbox.
