My desktop app's stuck indexing files after rebooting my computer.
I had to reboot my computer and since I have restarted it, my files will not sync. Status shows either a red X or pending. I have tried to log out and log back in, reinstall the desktop to no avail. ...

Nancy, my boss had a similar issue a while ago. He was told to uninstall and then reinstall Dropbox. Is that what I should do and if so, could you walk me through it...

Before trying that, can you please right-click on your local Dropbox folder, go to its “Properties” and send me a screenshot of the next window that will appear on your screen?
I want to see how many files are currently located in the folder before taking any other actions.

Hi Nancy,
I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling last night. Unchecked some files I don't use. And this morning it says Dropbox Up to Date and my files are there. I am cautiously optimistic that worked!
