Office version 2021 and 2016 can't edit file.
I facing an issue once other colleague share the file using office 2021 standard. I am using office 2016 and cannot edit the file. But the colleague set the permission for edit and view already. Is it my office need to upgrade to version 2021?Anyone experience with this.

Hi there, wtong86, thanks for posting here today!
I'd need some additional info, in order to understand what's happening.
What type of file is this, and which platform do you use in order to edit it? Do you get any specific errors when you try to edit the file?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Hey wtong86, do you see the changes online when you visit your account online though?
Asking, because we need to make sure this isn't a syncing problem that's causing this.
Let me know!

Hi,
No changes. Is it the office version will causing this issue?

Have you made sure the desktop app is open & syncing the way it should wtong86?
Also, it might sound trivial, but are your files inside your Dropbox folder at the moment?

Hi,
You still not answer my question, is it the office different will causing this issue?

No, that shouldn't be a problem wtong86.
It seems based on everything you mentioned, that this would most likely be causing due to a syncing issue.

Hi,
I think the issue is solved. Mostly the syncing issue or network slow. The file can be updated already. Thanks for you help and information.
