Problems uploading many files at once when using an Android.
Device
Pixel 9a
Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
Android 16
Dropbox App Version (if using the app)
Latest on play
Syncing Status
NA
What I am trying to do: I make a new folder on my dropbox. Then I select "upload", "files". I navigate to my local folder on android which contains 3000 pictures. I press "select all", and "select". I now expect all files to be uploaded to my Dropbox folder.
what happens: dropbox shows a popup with "preparing to upload". This dialog will animate for a minute or so. Then the app reloads and shows my root Dropbox folder.
expected behaviour: files uploading to my Dropbox folder
more stats: over 1 terabyte free space. Total upload size is less than 30 GB.

Hey hesten, I hope you're doing well!
To confirm what Rich mentioned, 400 is indeed the manual upload limit that you can use unless you're using our mobile app. You can read more about that here.
I also suggest that you try smaller batches, to check if the behavior remains the same.
If you need something else, please let me know and I will be more than happy to help every step of the way.

Unless it has changed since I last read about it, the mobile apps are limited to uploading 400 files at a time. Try selecting a smaller amount of files and see if the upload proceeds.
Since you're uploading pictures, have you considered using the Camera Uploads feature to upload them all automatically?
