Question or Issue
I am using Dropbox basic with 15 gb storage as I have introduced friends to it over the years
I am sharing a folder which has one file (Manager.io database)
The shared folder shows 2 members.
I do a backup from my computer to Dropbox but the other member is not able to see it.
Today, I have removed the shared folder and started all over again and the 2nd member can see and open the new folder.
Tomorrow when I do a new backup to dropbox, the 2nd user can only see the first backup and not the new backup folder. What do I do for the 2nd member to be able to see the new folder?
As I have been sharing folders for many years on Dropbox, I thought I only had to share folders with another member, or has Dropbox complicated the process nowadays and do I have also to create a link to make it work?
The second user only has view rights and not edit rights.
Your advice would be most appreciated

Hey mifs1, let's see what we can find about this together!
You mentioned that you do a backup to Dropbox. Is it safe to assume you're talking about the changes you make to the shared folder locally on your device?
In order to check if this is due to a syncing issue, can everyone involved check the folder on Dropbox.com to see if the changes are reflected there?
If the member of the folder in question can see what you're seeing online but not locally on their device, then there might be a syncing hiccup there.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
