time left in sync gone again
I know there is an older (2019) post about this, but the time left to sync seems to have disappeared again. any idea why this has disappeared again. Now when I hover over the icon, it just shows 'updating' and no info about time left. As the 2019 messages indicated, this was helpful and it would be great to have it back.

Hi none22, and welcome aboard our Community.
Can you clarify your device’s OS and Dropbox app version?
Did you notice the remaining time indication missing after a specific OS/Dropbox update, by any chance?
Let me know.

I am working with windows 10 and it's a desktop app. no idea what version or if there were any updates, just that that info just disappeared.

Hey none22, it's possible that this is due to an update of the Dropbox app, but let's look into it.
What exactly do you see when you hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray? Can you send us a screenshot?

When I hover over the icon i see
Dropbox 193.4.5594
Uploading "the name of the file"...

Thanks for that, none22!
Can you please clarify if the app is syncing as normal or if it's actually stuck and never reaching "up to date" status?

yes - it is syncing normally. I didn't ask about syncing, I asked about the icon showing the time remaining again since it had disappeared.

Hi none22, keep in mind that we've checked with our team and can confirm that they're aware of some issues causing the feature's unreliability.
Unfortunately, we don't have a timeline for fixing it yet, as this could have multiple causes . But we can look into it further via email if that's okay with you, and we'll do our best to help out further.
Thanks!

Hey none22, do you still face this issue?
If so, can we send you an email since I'd like to check some things internally, and possibly even escalate your case to our Specialists, if need be.

still facing the issue, as apparently are others. it seems you have identified internal problems. hopefully you can get them fixed soon.
