My account is full of shared files - How can I delete them to free up space?
My account is entirely full with files other people shared to me. I have no personal files stored.

I do not have edit access to the folders, and even if I did, it would be grossly unfair of me to delete files from the accounts of others. There is no one to ask for a view-only link. These files were shared ages ago.
I have no interest in paying for additional space.
Dropbox absolutely needs to add the ability to delete individual files.

7 months agoThanks for the update, hspindel, however, I think I'll need a couple of clarifications here.
If you locate the folder on this page, then navigate to the "who can access" column, does it say "only you" for this folder? Or does it say "X members"?
And if you click on "X members", what kind of permission does it show next to your name?
Additionally, the article I linked previously provides ways to add extra space to your account for free as well.
