Quota dropped from over 5 Gb to 2 Gb
Hello,
A year or two ago as I upgraded my Linux installation, my Dropbox quota suddenly dropped from over 5 Gb to 2 Gb. It seems to be impossible to reach Dropbox to ask about this. Why did my quota go down like that? Was is a mistake by Dropbox or a twist of some evil strategy they had adopted? Can I get my lost quota back? I am tired of getting constant reminders about my storage space being at a critical level.

Hi oraniyan, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you confirm the exact amount of quota according to this page on your account? A screenshot of this would help greatly.
This will help me to assist further!

Hi Jay,
when I followed your link, the page showed that my quota is 5.25 Gb. That should be correct. Earlier, on several occasions I only had 2 Gb there.

I'm glad to hear that your quota is visible there. The earned quota on that page wouldn't decrease, unless you were downgraded from a paid plan, or had promotions expire on your account.
Are you certain you weren't signed into a different account at that time?
