Referral shows as ineligible. What can I do?

I've referred a friend and the status says Ineligible, please help rectify.

Just to clarify, did they install it on a unique computer? Also, did they create a brand new Dropbox account?

Were you both on the same network when they accepted the referral? That often triggers the ineligible status.
