Dropbox Backup partially backup, not updating.
When I go to manage my backups the Mac is Disabled. I am backing up 3 folders from my computer hard drive. They are only partially backup and not updating. Screen shots to help explain.

Hi 25glenmore! Hope it’s OK to jump in instead.
To look into your case, we’ll need to know some specifics from your device and Dropbox app. Can you clarify your computer’s OS, and your Dropbox app’s version and current syncing status?
I’d also like you to send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing on your Backups page, and clarify which ones of your computer folders you’re having trouble with.

Hi Nancy
Thanks for getting in contact, I am using Windows 11 Pro
Dropbox Version 193.4.5594
Trying to backup an external hard drive called Elements, Dropbox has been trying to back it up but only partially backs it up a lot is missing. There is no issue with drive access or file integrity.
Full backup should be 142GB
I have restarted app and computer multiple times.

Thanks for the screenshot, 25glenmore!
I can see that your Dropbox app is still in the process of backing up lots of files. Can you please right click on your local Dropbox folder, go to Properties, and send me a screenshot of what you see there?
I’m just trying to make sure that the performance of the Dropbox app hasn’t degraded due to syncing an excessive amount of files.
Also, have you noticed any specific folders/file names that haven’t been backed up to your Dropbox account?

Nancy
All these files had no issue backing up previous to this, I have changed computer and now have the same files on an external hard drive rather than a local hard drive as per previous.
Been set to incremental backups for a very long time with no issues.
i have attached screenshot as requested with the properties window for the main folder.

Thanks for the extra screenshot!
In the meantime, I looked into the info you’ve provided so far, and I can see on your previous screenshot that only some of your folders have been chosen to be backed up.
Can you please pull up the previous window you had opened with your backup settings, and click on the “Choose folders” button (under Manage backup)? Do you see any of your folders not being selected at the moment?
Can you send me a screenshot of what you see there, as well?
