Dropbox stuck syncing on my work desktop after updating Windows.

I have both my personal Dropbox and work Dropbox accounts on my work desktop. I recently updated my Windows and Dropbox has been stuck syncing ever since. For some reason, only my personal account is not syncing properly on this desktop. On my laptop, both are working fine.

I tried to make sure dropbox is allowed through the firewall and security settings of my desktop.

I also tried pausing syncing for an hour and then letting it resume syncing and that did not help.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Thanks for the additional information and the screenshot too jlmoore314 - much appreciated.

Have you tried quitting the app and relaunching it and/or logging out of your account(s) and then back in since you first noticed this?

If it's still stuck at the same number of files, can you try fixing your hardlinks and permissions and let us know how it goes?

Hi there, jlmoore314 thanks for posting here!

Could you let me know the app's exact syncing status and version as shown in your system tray?

Also, can you click on your avatar in the app's preferences and then on the 'View sync issues' option? Are there any files listed there?

Lastly, do you have any third party app, like a security app, that could be hindering the syncing process? Could you try temporarily disabling your antivirus? Maybe that will do the trick.

Let me know what you find!

Hi, thank you! It's v219.4.4463. I attached a picture of the syncing status.

There are no files listed under sync issues.

I don't think I am able to disable the firewall - it's required to connect to our work network/internet. I attached a screenshot of the allowed apps for Windows Defender Firewall.

Quitting and relaunching hadn't helped, but today logging out and back in worked this time! Thank you.
