Solved

Dropbox throws a startup error on my macOS Big Sur computer.

Hi everybody. I'm not able to start Dropbox desktop app. After reinstalling on Mac os Big Sur the problem persists.

  • Thanks for sending over the full error log, redakce! After checking it, there are two usernames showing, so this seems to be the reason why you’re seeing this error indeed.

Can you follow these steps and let me know if they help?

That screenshot isn't the error. It's just showing a link to the error. Click the blue link to open the file. Copy the full content of the file and paste it in a reply here.

The problem emerged after I've renamed user and home folder. There must be somewhere still the former name. I've reinstalled Dropbox and deleted Dropbox files in user library as well. But it is still somewhere else.
