My computer is registered twice on my Security page and I cannot remove it as I'm getting an error
Hello,
For some reason, my computer (Mac OS) is registered twice on my dropbox account. I have tried uninstalling dropbox from the computer, but that doesn't seem to help.
I have tried unlinking it from the web UI under Security > Devices, but every time I try, I get a little error notification that says "Failed to unlink [computer]. Please try again later."
Any thoughts on how I can resolve this? Thanks!

Hi Jonnay, thanks for the info, I've sent you an email, please could you reply to it when you get a chance?

The email was in my Spam folder, and by the time I looked at the response here the case was auto-resolved. When I replie Hopefully we can re-open it?
Thanks!

Thanks for the update here, Jonnay.
I just sent you an email, so we can investigate this further internally. Just get back to when you can!

Right, but the device shows up twice in the list of devices, which means I cannot use a 3rd device.

Fresh and up to date version of chrome (138.0.7204.101). Clean cache. I just tried again in incognito mode. Same result!

Hi Jonnay,
I believe you cannot unlink a device that you are currently using . It may show under "Most Recent Activity" that your last access was about " 3 months ago" but it just lets you know that your last access from your device before today or the last hour was about 3 months ago, that's why it is giving you an error message that it cannot be unlinked since you are currently using the device . I hope this helps.

Hey Jonnay, have you tried this from a private browsing/incognito window as well?
Also, is your browser up to date? Which one are you using and which version?

Same Results.

Hey Jonnay - thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you clear your browser's cache and/or try another browser and let us know if you get the same results?
If you do, I'd appreciate a screenshot too.
Thank you.
