Hi emiliendurif, this would be related to another issue. If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link? - emiliendurif4 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Jaythank you very much for your advices. The last procedure works perfectly. 🙂

Hi Walter
I tried these steps and get a pop up that states...
Couldn't start Dropbox....
This is usually because of a permissions error. Storing your home folder on a network share can also cause an error.

Everything was working fine with my Dropbox until I downloaded the new update for my mac... Monterey 12.2.

Sorry to hear about this kyc117 - did you try an advanced reinstall so far? - kyc1174 years agoExplorer | Level 3
I tried doing the advance installation but that "terminal" instruction was a bit confusing. I did cut and paste into box. Still nothing worked

Sorry to hear about this kyc117 - could you clarify what's troubling you in the instructions exactly? - kyc1174 years agoExplorer | Level 3
I copied and pasted into the terminal box, not sure if that is the issue. My company has us using Dropbox to complete our documentation. I cannot talk to someone as I am not the admin. This is very frustrating. I have tried all of the instructions given on these posts.

I finally got the advanced install to work. I hope I don't have to do this with every update to my mac! lol. I may never do an update again!

Because of the Monterey upgrade, I did the advance reinstallation and now it says that I don't have any more space left and they want me to upgrade. For some reason I must have clicked on something that shared files on my mac to the dropbox. I tried deleting these files but It is not giving me more space. What should I do now. I have to do documentation for my company.
