We're having same problem. Tried uninstalling and re-installing (didn't try offline installer, yet) but that didn't help.
Is there a workable fix now? My internet search hasn't yet found one.

Hey sfmitch - since you haven't given it a go yet, could you try using the offline installer from this page directly and let us know how it goes?

Tried offline installer but still not working.
Anything else we can try?

When you say not working, are you unable to download the installer or run it sfmitch ?
Or maybe you're running it and you still get an error upon the installation process? If it's the latter, please send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting or the last screen you can get to, so that we can have a visual too.

Yes, I was able to download the installer. Run the installer. Dropbox appears to install ok.
The little icon appears in taskbar but looks greyed out. When I click on the dropbox taskbar icon, it says it is 'updating dropbox account'. When I go to settings, it shows we are not logged in but no ability to sign in.

sfmitch, can you send me a screenshot of what you’re currently seeing on your desktop app?
Can you also clarify what type of plan is the Dropbox account you’re trying to sign in on? Is it a Business account, or a personal one?

Thanks for the screenshots sfmitch
Could you try an advanced reinstall and let us know if the issue persists?
Just make sure to remove the device from your Security page as well during that process.
