Dropbox India - Renewal Failed
Hello from India!
Does anyone have a solution on how to renew Dropbox in India. As per the new RBI rule, any subscription based plan over Rs. 5000, needs to be registered with the bank first. I don't see Dropbox on any banks platform of approved providers and therefore unable to renew my company's account.
I've tried with multiple cards and received this error message:
Payment Failed!
For Dropbox
On Bank Credit Card.
Reason: Non-compliant Recurring or Standing Instruction registered with Merchant. Use alternate source to pay the bill.
For details, contact your merchant.
Please help!

Like *everyone else* in India I'm facing the same problem. I've tried all my cards and none of them have worked. My renewal date has passed so I'm a little anxious about my data. I'd like to have a way to pay and get on with life. Thanks.

I'm having the same issue, tried multiple cards, I've also sent an email to support about 2 day back and so far have received no reply/solution. Please can someone from the team help us? Best

And for those whose renewal is due or elapsed there is nothing to worry as their subscription for current month will continue as it is.. Hopefully in the mean time they will provide a solution

Can you please help me with my payment too - it was due this month and I cant get it to work. I have received a warning that my account will stop working from Nov 1.
My email is [email removed as per Community Guidelines] A quick resolution will be greatly appreciated, as I would not like to lose my dropbox data.

I just upgraded my plan and the issue was solved.
