How can I redeem the 50% Discount for Dropbox Plus with Adobe Creative Cloud?
I have both an Adobe Creative Cloud and a Dropbox Plus subscription. I recently saw that I could be saving 50% on my Dropbox Plus sub.
It has only recently renewed but as my work situation has changed I need to cut some costs while I seek new work.
I want to keep my subscription but want to take advantage of this offer I'm entitled to.
Could someone let me know if they've been able to do this? When I click Redeem Offer it says I already have a Dropbox Plus plan.
I've been paying for Adobe for 30 years and Dropbox for 15 years.
Many thanks!

Indeed, this promotion with Adobe does exist, however, it cannot be redeemed if you're already on a Dropbox Plus subscription, just like the error message mentioned.
It works for existing users, just not the ones that have already purchased their plan.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Glad this discount is now working and people can benefit from the savings. Unfortunately, I opted for the Essentials package instead of the Plus. Plus has a 50% discount applied but Essentials doesn't — why they were placed on the same offer page, I don't know. Presumably so that some people may choose the Essentials plan, thinking that it also had the 50% applied too [like I did]. My trial ends tomorrow and rolls over into a 12 month plan. I've now got only a few hours to decide whether I commit to the full-price plan, not looking likely due to how long it's taken Dropbox customer support to resolve the incredibly simple issue raised by the OP. Doesn't fill me with enough confidence in the support to pay a year's cost upfront, unfortunately.

Well all these negative comments are a bummer. I am allowing my subscription with Dropbox to expire tomorrow in order to get renew with the 50% Adobe discount (to help offset new Adobe subscription expense). If anyone gives me the run-around at Dropbox - I’m out. Definitely will move to one of their competitors. I hope they honor this as it was advertised on Adobe in the last couple weeks. Thanks y’all.

Dear Dropbox,
What is wrong with you?
I have multiple chats going with Dropbox support - one person said the deal expired last year. The other person said it IS still going and for me to downgrade to Basic and that all my 600GB files will still be there. How can they be? Basic only has 2GB storage.
Disappointed in Dropbox on this one. 🙃

Hey notfunnotworthit - thanks for flagging this with us.
Could you share your ticket ID for your chat interaction(s) with us so that we can look it up in our system?
As for your files that are stored in Dropbox, indeed they'd still be there even if you downgrade your account temporarily at some point.

Hello Pedro, thanks for your reply.
Any updates on this issue? I was about to redeem my 50% off offer but stumbled on the same problem everyone here is talking about, 4 months later. I have been paying for DropBox Plus for a year or two now and since I'm currently seeking employment it would be a much appreciated discount. - Megan10 months ago

Hey Megan, thank you for the reply.
I have simply followed the link you sent and after clicking on Redeem Offer, I get a message saying I already have Dropbox Plus. That's it.
It takes me to the page showing all plans, as if I was intended to upgrade to get the offer. However I don't want or plan to upgrade, since I already have DB Plus and am happy with it, but since I pay for Adobe CC as well, it would be great to have the 50% off. - FlavioMark10 months agoNew member | Level 1

Hey FlavioMark!
Since your existing account is already on the Dropbox Plus plan, I'm afraid that it's not possible to claim the promotion.
That said, if you happen to have another Dropbox account that is on the free plan and you're up for it, at some point in the future before the promotion expires, you can try to redeem it.
