If I don't pay my subscription will Dropbox delete all my files?
If I don't pay my subscription will it delete all my files that goes past the non premium limit so I was js if it'll delete my files bc of that
Hi everyone, just want to add clarity to this thread!
Nothing happens to your files when your subscription expires.
However, if you're over your storage quota when your subscription expires you simply won't be able to sync your files, but they'll remain accessible through the Dropbox website. Your files are not deleted or removed from the account unless there's been 12 months of inactivity.

That's simply not true anymore. Dropbox has stated, and it's in the help articles, that if you're over quota your files are subject to deletion, though they will send multiple warning emails before that happens.

No, typically if you stop paying for a subscription to a cloud storage service, your files are not immediately deleted. Instead, your account may be downgraded to a free plan, and you'll likely lose access to some premium features. Your files will usually remain accessible, but you may be unable to upload new files or sync across devices until you free up space or resume your subscription.
To be certain, you should check the specific terms and conditions of your cloud storage provider, as policies can vary.

Dropbox do reserve the rights to delete files if you go over quota, yes.
They will warn you before they do it, however, it is not recoverable once it happens.
