My plan was downgraded, but I paid for an upgrade.

I signed a one year 2TB dropbox plan june of 2023. Mid january, without any warning, dropbox tried to charge R$628,00 on my credit card. Since it didnt go though, i received an email saying that my storage was full and i needed to upgrade to 3TB plan. Of the 2TB i signed up for i have only used 325GB.  But they kept trying to charge me to an upgrade to 3TB. 

This week, all my files stopped synchronizing, then i received an email saying i have been downgraded to the 2GB basic plan. 

Can someone please explain why i need to upgrade to 3TB, when i havent used 20% of the 2TB plan and i can i get my plan back.

    Are you able to see the successful invoices and receipts for the recent payments on this page?

     

    Could you clarify what exactly is shown in your plan tab at the moment and when did you receive the email?

    The first trial to charge was on the 6th of febuary 2024 (to correct my mistake i said mid january in my early post). Since then, atleast twice a week the charge comes up again...

    And i get atleast 3 emails a day about the upgrade

    Hey Oficina de detalhamentos, did you have a chance to review the links in my previous response?

     

    I'm asking, because at the moment, it's not entirely clear to me what type of subscription you're using. 

     

    Is it possible that you upgraded a different Dropbox account, and not the one you're using?

    Good morning Megan, 

    Yes i saw the link you sent. That is exactly my complain. I signed the 2TB plan 29/6/2023... in febuary i started getting emails from dropbox that i have to upgrade my account to 3TB plan because 2TB storage was already (as you can see from the link you sent, i only used 355GB). After so many trial to bill my credit card without sucess, my plan was downgraded to 2GB. Do you what me to forward the emails to you?

    Ainda não conseguimos cobrar por sua conta Dropbox Plus mesmo depois de várias tentativas. Pedimos que você verifique se suas informações de faturamento estão atualizadas. Se não estiverem, sua conta sofrerá downgrade.

    Alterar informações de faturamento


    Lembre-se: depois do downgrade na sua conta para o Dropbox Basic, seu espaço de armazenamento cairá de 2 TB para 2 GB (além do espaço de bônus ganho anteriormente), e você perderá o acesso a recursos de segurança como senhas para links compartilhados, permissões de pastas compartilhadas e exclusão remota.

    O Dropbox deixará de sincronizar se seu uso ultrapassar a nova cota, e você só poderá adicionar arquivos ao Dropbox quando o espaço usado ficar abaixo do espaço disponível na conta.
