No access to 2FA or security code, so I am having issues accessing my account.
Dear All/Team :
my case is really disturbing, even I don't know how to start.. I'm having dropbox account, but i can't access it.. why ?
bkz the 2fa is on my old number ( I lost my mobile, and I can't get the number back), and the disaster is the code i've been giving for the first time, saved on that phone,,, I till have access in my email and password of course, and when I try to log in , it incest to put either the 2fa, or a security code...
no matter how much i tried in any way, still can't remove that to add my new number... I'm having this account for more than 15 years.. and all my memories is there.... SO PLEASE.....
help me

want to add something :
If at least send me the code to my email...I can access my email, and I know my password, plus I have another account on dropbox, but this lucky account don't have 2fa.. not like the old one

Hey heartleo, sorry to hear about that!
You mentioned that when you try to access your account, it asks for either the 2FA code, or the 6-digit-security code, right?
Have you tried using the latter?
Have you also taken a look and tried the steps mentioned at this Help Center article?
If I understood correct, it sounds like you don't have access to your emergency codes, but without them you'd need another active device already linked to your account. Do you have one?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Highly appreciate your reply Megan...
to make it simple... when I type my email and my password, the page automatically take me to the 2fa, (as I mentioned, I don't have the number), when I press for more help, or anther way, it asks me to put the (code), which saved on my mobile phone which I lost...
I need to help to reset all my settings for that account... i had backup account attached to it, i had my email plus my password...
what else need to reset it

I'm afraid that without access to your old phone, or emergency codes there's not much that we can do heartleo.
However, what I can do is open a ticket on my end for you, in order to have a closer look into this, and make sure we've exhausted all our options.
Would that be okay?

Yes, plz...
this account even more than 16 years... when I say i lost my phone, bkz i was living in different country, and I get back to my home country.... i can share with you even both numbers (the one has gone, and the one i'm using now), and even if you try to check the old number (which i lost), you will see still not working....
just plz do your best...
