When using Google Translate, I thought that the word "text" might have been translated inaccurately.

 

I apologize for not mentioning Microsoft Office, but I appreciate that Rich brought it to your attention.  The Help Center article that I posted above explains that badges only work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

We use this suggestion and it helps us to alleviate the conflicted copy annoyance with non-Microsoft Office files.

 

• Implementing an In Use folder to edit files will make your shared collaborative folder members aware that the file is currently being used.

• Remember to move the file out of the In Use folder when you're finished editing.
