削除されたPCデータの復元

Dropbox内のMy PCフォルダ（デスクトップ）を削除したところ、同期を停止していたにもかかわらず、PC上のデスクトップのファイルが全消去されてしまいました。削除されたファイルはPC上のゴミ箱にも、Dropboxのゴミ箱内にも見当たりません。削除したファイルのうち「最近使った項目」にあったファイルにはアクセスでき、ダウンロードすることができました。削除ファイルの復元方法をご教示ください。
