Files Missing on Cloud and other devices, after moving my Dropbox folder.

I added a new drive to my Mac so I could store all of my dropbox files locally.  I went into the preferences and selected the new location.  All of my files are on the new drive, but were removed from the cloud and from my other devices.  When I go into the preferences now, it shows the new hard drive with a red circle with a white line.

Hi @LAWJR, welcome to our Community!

If I understand your process correctly, it sounds like you tried to move your Dropbox folder to a new drive in your Mac, but that resulted in your files not being visible online, is that right?

Let me know if I missed any details! As a first step, can you check the app's syncing status, to let me know what it reports there?

Did you follow these steps, in order to move your content? Lastly, is the new drive an internal or external one?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
