linking d

I created a new spreadsheet (dropbox business account) for a job we recently did it will be eventually sent / shared to customer which is outside our organization but we always save it in a nonrestricted folder.

I need to add the video which is stored on drop box in a nonrestricted folder to the excel sheet so each "line of completed work" has the video showing proof of being completed.  I used file explorer to copy as a path then inserted hyperlink into excel document & renamed it as  what the name of each area completed is listed as in excel sheet. I then shared it to my boss (he also has access to the spreadsheet shared on excel) he said the links are not working. I copied the spreadsheet to another location as a "safety" incase something happened to the first one. The links work for me but not him.

How can i easily link multiple videos stored on our dropbox to this excel sheet (final report of job) and have the links work for anyone who is given the link to the spreadsheet.

Do i need to create a dropbox link for each video instead of copying as a path from my dropbox folder using file explorer on my computer?

^ thats what one of the links looks like as the path (i modified my name on it tho so it will not working in this thread)

Hi @ambern1023, thanks for messaging the Community!

You'd need to change the links to a relative link, instead of an absolute link. This thread would help in more detail.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
