Hey @Lancey! Thanks for posting on our forum.

From what you mention, it sounds like your browsers are timing out before downloading the full file. If you don't have a strong internet connection as well, this may be the reason why this is happening.

Did you also try this via an incognito window on your browser, and the issue persists?

Can you send me a screenshot of the error you keep getting?

Finally, I’d like you to clarify if you have the desktop app installed on your computer. If you do, and the files are available locally there, you can copy them to the location of your choice.

Let me know what you find.

I used the web and app version of Dropbox only and I used the desktop site button in both chrome and Firefox but it is the same....it doesn't download the file

@Lancey, when saying that you used the web and app version of Dropbox only, you mean that you also have the desktop app installed on your computer, correct? Or are you referring to accessing the Dropbox website on your computer instead?

Did you also try the incognito window and your browser timed out again?

I don't use a PC for Dropbox or using the browser in my PC to use dropbox

Hey @Lancey, would you mind sending us a screenshot of where you see the error message you mentioned, so we can have a visual?
