Support send to iPad/iPhone in preview markup
Normally when I take screenshots on my mac I can send the image to my iPad and markup the image on my iPad (without needing to save the image to my iPad). I find this really useful as I can markup my screenshots with Apple Pencil. It would be super handy if Dropbox screenshot markup supported this also.
Why can't I upload files in the background on the iOS Dropbox mobile app?
Hi there, photo upload from Dropbox iOs app to my Dropbox 1.) only 400 photos "clickable" 2.) more of an issue: once im not in the app or lock mode (iphone) photos/videos wont upload. when will this finally change? i mean google maps also runs in the background and can navigate and up/download data? thanks, matt
iPod won't Connect to my Dropbox account.
Hello. I have an iPod running iOS 12.5.8. When I try to login to my account using the iOS app I get the following error, "Unable to Connect to Dropbox There may be a problem with your iPod's internet connection". There is no problem w/ my internet connection. I can connect to the internet fine. When I try to login from my iPod using Google I get an 'invalid" email address error. I know this email is correct b/c I can log in from my desktop. This used to work fine but suddenly stopped working. And yes I tried deleting and reloading the app and it still does not work. I don't have cellular data options on this iPod.
View HTML in Safari rather than the Dropbox mobile app on iOS?
Is there some easy way I am missing of viewing an HTML file from the iOS Dropbox app in Safari rather than in the in-app viewer? Hi there, (for iPad/iOS and general) It would be great if the MP3 player could be displayed side-by-side (for example, in a side panel), so that MP3 files can play in a built-in player while a PDF or other document is open at the same time within the Dropbox app. This would be extremely helpful for musicians and similar use cases. Also, please ensure that basic MP3 playback options are available (some may already exist), such as play once, shuffle, and loop. For my workflow, “play once” would be the most important feature. Changed password on Excel file, now I get Decryption Failed error on latest iOS
Hi everyone. This is with the latest version of iOS. I have an existing Excel File that is encrypted with a password. It works fine with Dropbox. I change the password and save it, and now I get the error Decryption Failed when I open it on the iPhone with the password. The worksheet works fine on PC. I've even tried changing the password back to the old one and it still doesn't work. Is there some encryption setting in Excel that may be affecting this? I am using Office Professional 2019. Hi there, subscription prices are not that low to be honest so would it be too much to want Dropbox to make the iOs app more "useful" (talking from iPad persepctive)? like MP3s can be played right now, but not in the background, and it would be nice for simple player functions like "play only 1 time", "loop", "shuffle" etc. Any update here?
Syncing with Dropbox is paused when I access my Files app.
I have an iPhone 14 and iPad Air 4th generation. When I go to files app, under Dropbox it shows Syncing with Dropbox paused. This is only happening on my iPad works fine on iPhone. Spoke with Apple and said it’s a Dropbox issue. I have removed Dropbox app and reinstalled it. Signed out and in, reset network settings. Background app refresh is on. I’ll post a pic. Files are loading but still shows syncing paused.
