Cloud Icon without down arrow. What does it mean?
I uploaded a 2.4Gb .mp4 video from my iMac. It has appeared in DB with a cloud icon beside it (no down arrow, just a cloud). I am unable to see it on any of my other devices and can't see it if I log in to my account on the DB website. Can anyone tell me what is happening?

Hey there, doctormacc, happy Friday!
Could you send me a screenshot, in order for me to have a visual of this? Are you referring to the online-only grey, cloud icon as shown in this Help Center article?
Keep me posted!
- doctormacc3 years agoExplorer | Level 3No, there is no solid grey circle enclosing the cloud, it is just a cloud outline and nothing else!

Hi doctormacc, what options do you get when right clicking the file? Are you able to make it available offline?

I have the same issue sometimes. JUST an outline of a cloud. Usually this applies to a file on my desktop.... and when I relaunch the Finder, the empty cloud is gone.
- doctormacc3 years agoExplorer | Level 3My cloud outline eventually disappeared and after that I was able to send links to the file. I’m still not sure what it meant.

Hi all, sorry for the late response.
For anyone who's still affected by this, could you send us a screenshot of how this looks on your end so that we can have a visual too?
Thanks!

Here's a screenshot.... it seems to be a delay in syncing or an issue with the Finder on Mac. When I relaunch the Finder, the icons disappear or update, not sure which but then I can right click and choose offline or online which resolves the issue.

Hi Creative Soul, thanks for the screenshot!
Is it possible that you're using iCloud with these files too? It seems this icon is linked to iCloud based on Apple's article here.

I don't use iCloud but maybe that's the case with the Finder and I'm just not aware of the function. I think this is sorted now Thx
