Grant file access

Question

i had download on my dropbox app on my Mac few word documents, when i try to open them is showing grant file access, i then select the file, grant the access but it says that i can't grant the access i'm an admin.

what should i do?

I've also been having this problem for a few weeks, and it's slowing me down! How can I continue to use Dropbox via my finder without getting these roadblocks ("Grant File Access" that won't let me access)?

Is there a problem with syncing?

In the example shown in the two screenshots below, I tried to open a PPT file created a few months ago and was unable to.&nbsp;&nbsp;My "smart sync" setting has been on, but last night I turned it off to see whether that would help. Maybe I should close all apps, reboot, and start over?&nbsp;I hope someone can help me because I'm losing productivity trying to sort out this problem.!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hi Stephanie T.3, the two screenshots are identical and aren't showing enough detail.

Could you try re-uploading them if these images aren't showing the correct info?
