Issue with download link and basic account.
I'm having an issue with a download link I've been sent and I hope someone can help me?
I have a Basic account which I understood has no download limit as such but is limited to bandwidth.
The file is just over 32GB and I have tried a few times to down load and get anywhere between 11 GB and 23GB showing in the .ZIP once it is complete.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

Hi RPM10000, I hope you're doing well!
If I understand the situation right, it sounds like you're trying to download content from a shared link, but you don't see the full size once you do, correct?
Do you try to add it to your Dropbox account, or download it locally?
Have you tried downloading, using a different browser by any chance?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Yes it is content from a shared link.
I believe I am trying to download directly to my computer because the file would be too large from the account type I have. When I click on the file link, it takes me to a page that says "Too Big to load" and under it it has a download tab, once pressed it starts a download to my local download file on my computer.
I haven't tried the download via a different browser, only used Edge at the moment.
Hopefully this helps?

Hi RPM10000, I'd really appreciate it if you could try an entirely different browser, and an incognito tab on your current one.
I'm asking that, because we need to identify if this is a browser-related issue, or a plug-in causing it or something entirely different.
As for the message you mentioned, and the screen you see when clicking on the file link: would you be able to send me a screenshot of that, in order for me to have a visual?

Hi Megan,
Have tried both a different browser and in private mode on edge and both still fail. Have tried twice once the file size was 9gb when failed, second time 25gb (no internet connection issues). Seems to be a very Dropbox specific issue as not long ago i downloaded a 70gb file with no issues.

Thankyou for the assistance

Hi RPM10000, we can only recommend trying the download again, since it should be possible to download the file from the shared link.
If need be, you can try a different network or computer entirely.

Tried 6 times now and failed every time.
I afraid not much of a solution to try a different network etc.

Hey RPM10000 - sorry to jump in here, but if you've ensured that you have enough hard drive space for the complete download, could you reboot your computer and internet router and let us know if you still get the same results?

Have over 1 Tb of unused disk space so no issue there. File download has been tried over multiple days so computer reboot is not the issue. Unsure about router so will try, but if honest I'm doubtful that will be the cause.

have tried all the suggestions and still doesn't work. Keeps getting to about 25 to 26gb and then stops.
As I have said no other issues with any other programs downloading very large files

Hey RPM10000, for one of the larger sized items that downloaded, have you tried opening/extracting it by any chance?
